HOW IT ALL STARTED

In 2016, when my husband and my BTO flat was approaching the Minimum Occupation Period of 5 years, I decided to take on the sale of our home myself by attaining a CEA license.
My initial marketing strategy was similar to what the other agents were doing, which involved uploading photos on the popular property portals and waiting for enquiries. When the enquiries came in, they were not serious buyers and if there was a rare request for viewing there was always negative feedback like the low floor of the unit or that the unit was bare.
The feedback triggered me to think of how I could increase the appeal of the flat. In addition, I was looking to transact above the market price, which was non-negotiable. Thereafter, I started using innovative methods like homestaging to add appeal to the flat, leveraging of the far reaches of social media and conceptualising an informative video tour of the flat. The results were amazingly positive and I managed to sell the flat within a month and at the price that I wanted. From then on, I have been helping homeowners achieve similar results by utilising creative marketing solutions.

Though Lorraine has only been in the real estate industry for 3 years, she has worked relentlessly to build up her skills and knowledge on the property market.
She graduated from Nanyang Technological University, and worked in the banking industry, before making the transition to real estate.
